A timeline of my dA life

I don't know how to stress enough the DOWNLOAD of this piece to really get the full picture. Full size could work too, but I don't want all the beauty and details to be missed out on.

Ok there's a lot going on here, and plenty to be explained.

This is about my favorite models on dA who have allowed me the pleasure of manipulating them. The time line starts at the left and flows right.

This started out as an idea to mimic the Pink Floyd picture of the girls sitting with their feet in a pool with their nude backs were airbrushed into Pink Floyd's album covers. I had eight specific models who've been my favorite for various times, so I found a band with 8 album releases, exactly. That was a quick search and I found Nine Inch Nails. I'm extremely apathetic about the band itself, but it served it's purpose. So THAT is what is layered onto their backs.

There were quite a bit of other small, conceptual and composition things that were done. I won't say them and ruin the illusion, if there be any left.

This piece took days to do. A lot of work went into it, and in all honesty I didn't want to even trim down a single picture, yet I did and even now it is HUGE. I don't normally do anything this big but I had enough large images to pull it off, so I'd really like it if you clicked on 'download' and try to take it all in. The models are simply beautiful and the work that went into this piece, pixel by pixel, should not be missed. Even if it's something simple I think the collective amount of work and quality given helps maintain the beauty of the models and brings out a little artistic side with the manipulations. (I think I got a little long winded, but oh well ^_^)
