Meru is an interesting character. She's a Wingly and technically, probably, the oldest of your bunch, however they live a lot longer so thus in HER race's age, she's actually quite young, and she asks like it. While the translation to english doesn't do enough for her, you can definitely tell she's very light hearted with a desire to help people. Also, like a lot of young people, she doesn't have the old tradition of being racist against humans (black to white is not racist, for the record, we're still of the human race).

I hate hair, I've said that before somewhere. Personally I just don't do hair well. However there was no one who could fit Meru's near-white-with-a-touch-of-blue hair so I had no choice. Considering that, I think it came out pretty well. The outfit itself was a bit harder since it was plain and I needed to add some trim in, again an OK job there. The hammer is not what I'd like but there's NO giant hammers out there, so this...works....I guess. I'm not a BIG fan of how the 'frost' effect came out, but it's not bad. The main focus I wanted, and the best part of my work is the shattered ice effect under her boot. I added the darker effect at the last second and thought it came out great. Overall I guess this piece isn't that great, I'm not very skilled with ice and hair, and that's what this piece demanded. HOWEVER, I will say I love how Daniela's expression is just perfect for Meru. All this ice that she created is around her yet she's just have a good ol' time!

Can't leave out the 'game comments'. Meru is an absolute beast in battle! Her Def. is decent, her speed is great if you give her speed shoes, her attack is pretty good and 'great' since she has all that speed now. Just give an accessory that refills her MP each turn so she can use the only 'heal all' magic in the game, and you'll never worry about HP while she wails away in between heals. Also her combos are pretty easy and make sense since she has the swing that big hammer around so it's a match made in the Divine Tree ^_-.
