Miranda from Legend of Dragoon

I'm not sure if this is a good sign for me, but I truly loved this piece! It was far easier than recent ones, but I think it came out much better! That may not be good as it means I don't have the skills for heavy manip. work, but hell, this is only a hobby! lol

Anyways, I'm so glad I got the colors right. Miranda has this red/brown color armor and gold trim, and I think I captured well. The bow IS the same used for Shana, I thought that it'd be fitting since they're basically the same character in game. I know this is just a color edit with a simple bow placed behind her back and a few feather brushes, but MAN I can't get over how happy I am with this! lol Perhaps it's also because I got the LOVELY Ancila as my model (she's one of my fav btw! ^_^).

I also loved this piece because, once again, I got to match the face with the character. Miranda is a sister...of something...I don't remember, but while the others are nice and tender, Miranda is the "I don't put up with SH!T" attitude. In that sense the piece reminds me of Rose and how she may down to her, matching, bra & panties, but that doesn't mean her attitude changes. I presume Miranda walks around with a permanent 'pissed off' look, and this picture brings that in as in "I know I'm nearly naked and look sexy, but that doesn't mean I'm not pissed at somebody" lol.

As far as in-game use, I donno if I ever used her more than a couple of battles. That bow is nearly obsolete the second you can switch out Shana, and never really changes when Miranda picks it up. She's boring to fight with, her attack is at the bottom of the scale, her defense is pretty shotty too. However, she has a couple of really nice single heal and revive spells. But if you utilize Meru right, you don't need to revive and thus there's no need for the Silver White Dragoon. There was possibly one redeeming quality about the bow, the ability to attack all enemies. HOWEVER, they decided to give you that weapon, basically, right before the LAST BOSS, which was basically pointless. They would have been better off just leaving that out of the game so you don't get to the end and think "wow, if I had this weapon a disc or two back, I would have actually used her!", nope, instead you get the "wow, what a$$holes. To give me this weapon now that I have NO USE FOR IT, just -super-" thought. Anyways, sorry Miranda, you were pretty useless, unless I felt lazy and didn't want to do combos, then I could use your bow. Maybe THAT'S why you were so pissed the whole game!
